MV255 Battery Powered Mag (Converter + Sensor)
The MV255 Battery Powered Mag part of the FLOWIZ family is a battery converter with integrated modem that can power any sensor of the ISOMAG family, insertion or flanged up to DN1800. The MV255 is also able to manage up to two pressure or temperature sensors.
The MV255 FLOWIZ has an integral 3G UTMS/GPRS modem that allows wireless transmission of all measured flow and pressure/temperature data. Data security in communication is guaranteed by encryption with the TSL/SLL standard, the data is packaged to reduce the time and costs of data transmission, SMS alarms can be sent in cases where the process thresholds are exceeded.
MV255 Battery Powered Mag can be powered by lithium or alkaline batteries, the batteries can be easily replaced, without interrupting the measurement.
Batteries have an estimated life of 15 years or more based on measurement conditions.
Optionally the MV255 can be powered from the mains, a.c. or c.c. or from a solar panel via the DC connection; in this case the batteries have a backup function, avoiding data loss in the event of a power failure.
MV255 and MS2500 combination
Isoil’s MV255 Battery Powered Mag coupled to the MS2500 flow sensor (up to DN1000) complies with the European directive 2014/32 /EU MID, Annex III MI-001. Minimum conductivity value of the liquid 20 µS / cm.
The converter has an internal logger capable of storing flow and pressure data with a recording capacity of 4 GByte, which guarantees years of recording.

The instrument is equipped with advanced diagnostics thanks to the BIV (built-in verifier) which constantly monitors various sensor parameters, anticipating possible problems.
