Meter Size selection

If the fluid tends to coat, minimize deposit of solids on the electrodes by operating at higher velocities.

Recommendations:

1. The velocities are for optimal working conditions.
2. If the fluid is abrasive it is advisable to avoid high velocities which would cause abrasion damage to the lining.

This Meter Selection Guide is an “engineering guide” showing the relationship between Meter Diameter, Flow Velocity and Flow Rate. It is not a specification sheet.

For convenience the table has four columns with velocities from 0.1m/sec to 10m/sec. For different flow rates interpolate between columns.
